The “House Freedom Caucus” was there to pretend to challenge Ryan, then report most of its members supported him after Ryan convinced them how good he was.

My congressman, Scott Perry of Pennsylvania, is part of this “House Freedom Caucus” show. Perry voted for Boehner for Speaker twice and had Boehner in the district for a fundraiser in 2013.
He’s showboating for us folks back here and said he would support Ryan last week after Ryan’s meeting with the HFC last week.
The ‘pretenders’ are the ones who pretend 40 congressmen can control the Chamber. That’s insane.
The HFC could, and did, topple Boehner.
At one time they would have been celebrated for that.
No denying the RINOs ran the table this week though.
