Well, “your day” is no more. There’s every likelihood that this out-of-control “student’s” parent(s) couldn’t be contacted, refused to intervene or simply DIDN’T CARE.

Good list HA, but you missed one possibility. There is a good chance that the parent will intervene on the side of their child (the student), using threats of lawsuits against the school, etc.

There is also a good chance that today they do this to a kid acting bratty. Tomorrow the teacher may call the police on some kid for expressing his patriotism or wearing a cross. I realize some of these kids are out of control and I realize some of the parents are irresponsible. But what is really going on here? Intimidation, pure and simple. They are conditioning the kids. You do what we say or we will bring in the cops to take you out.

Pretty scary if you ask me. We are already living in a police state. Might makes right.
