I hope Bevin wins.
Is this the Democratic tactic now to laugh and sneer at everything the Republican says? Shades of Joe Biden. This Conway fellow did this to everything Bevin said. What a creep!
Sounds like a Biden tactic.
Bevin represented himself well. That’s all a challenger needs to do. More than that, Bevin came across as having plans and a vision, whereas Conway came across as patching things together on an ad hoc basis. The undecideds will break for him, and some those supporting the independent candidate will shift to him.
The state got downgraded (from AA- to A+) based on huge underfunding of state pensions. Ouch!
Right-to-work big advantage for Bevin.
Dope-testing welfare recipients another advantage.
Seeking a waiver from Obamacare, shifting from all-or-nothing to sliding scale subsidies yet another.
Nice touch by Bevin on diversity. “Diversification” he called it.
Thanks.
This is the first time that I’ve ever seen either candidate and I’ve never seen any of their ads...
Matt came across as focused, intelligent, quick, and a bit pissed off.
Jack came across as a like-able exjock, who laughs way to much.
I predict that this race will come down to turnout.
Bevin should invite Cruz, Carson, Huckabee and Trump to all campaign with him at least once before the election
Not Carson, he would put everyone to sleep. Trump would draw some yuuuuge crowds for Bevin. A great suggestion otherwise.
Without Bevin there is no chance of passing Right to Work Law. Wonder what you and others from KY think his chances are going in to the final show down?
We’ll see, but I think Conway’s relentlessly nasty campaign is a sign that his people think he is going to have a hard time getting to 50 and that maybe he could beat Bevin in the 40s with a third Party candidate gaining a slice.
Some have suggested Trump pay a visit to Kentucky to bolster Bevin. Sort of an eleventh hour push. Most polls seem to indicate Conway up 3-5% over Bevin. Hope they are wrong. Quite a few “undecideds.”
