I doubt that these radiate enough heat to get a lock.... It’s not like it has a big honkin GE F110 with afterburner in it.

I wondered about that.
Does a piston - driven propeller aircraft give off enough heat for an antiaircraft missile to lock on and hit it?
Seems like simple cowling adjustments could defeat those missiles.
