When I went to post a comment I was redirected to a presumed Firefox warning page that Free Republic was a reported malware/phishing site. The below second warning message indicates that Google's blacklist was invoked. I don't know if this is a malware warning generated on my computer or a real issue that Free Republic should be quickly investigating. I'll post the link here for investigative purposes, DO NOT click on this link.

Wait! Please don't visit that site right now!
Google detected badware on the site you were visiting. Firefox uses Google's blacklist to warn you about "Reported attack sites." We understand that you may know and trust this site, but it's possible for good sites to be infected with badware without the site owners' knowledge or permission.
I used Chrome for this reply. Lets see if it works.
“There wasnt a way to Or you can continue to.. without copy and pasting the link. Major hassle.”
In Firefox, you can click on “Open Menu”, then “Options”, then “Security”, and then uncheck “Block reported attack sites”.
This is a common attack by leftist disruptors - falsely reporting conservative sites as having viruses, so that people are scared away by the official-looking warning.
I used Chrome for this reply. Lets see if it works....I get the warning. See if I can post.
I got it this afternoon for the Rush thread, when all others were fine. Then later this afternoon for the thread about it, when all others were fine.
Your thread, at least so far, is coming through just fine.
The warning is showing up every time I reply to a post...but the reply is still being posted.
Got it again right now after posting.
Here was google’s “further info”:

Yep. But it’s still a hassle for me. I don’t have a laptop or a box to change the settings on. I do everything from an iPhone. Prolly some way to do it, but I’ll wait and see just how much of a hassle it becomes before trying to find that way.
What is Google ?
Last time this happened I think it was caused by a malware link posted on a thread...JimRob & John have to track it down, delete the post and clean up the record with Google anti-malware? Looks like it is a post on a “Chat/f-chat” thread.

Me too. I thought my reply wouldn’t post either but it is. Seems like maybe some sort of an attack on FR?
That is the result of “Why was this page blocked”.
That is basically the problem: users posting links or images hosted on dodgy 3rd party sites.
Some pages on this website send visitors to the following dangerous websites: sssfc.com and aim.org.
The Freeper name i was replying to had first 3 letters aim
And then it happened again, the Warning.
