When I did my first stint in college back in the late 1970s, I was aware of two studies done where the PhD's in charge willingly used their studies to push forward left-leaning agendas.

One was intended to change the minds of people on a mayoral council. And the other was done in order to get the state to write a new law where all nursing homes would be forced to provide a room where two people could go in and have sex.
