A virulent strain of Clinton Derangement Syndrome, which scientists and Republicans thought had been wiped out at the end of the last century, is now inflicting millions of conservative Americans. Some Republicans so detest Hillary Clinton they are badly underestimating how likely she is, at this point in the campaign, to be Americas 45thpresident. Their denial is just as strong now as it was a month ago, before Clinton began a run of political victories that have enhanced her prospects, all while the roller derby/demolition derby that is the Republican nomination contest has continued to harm the GOPs chances of winning back the White House.

You got it, Bernie is much more popular right now on the Dems side. Folks are tired of insiders.
I suspended all disbelief after watching Obama get re-elected with that set of absurd narratives in 2008 (War on Women, Life of Julia, Mitt Romney:Dog Abuser, etc.)
I fear we’ve become Europe and more than half the voters are only concerned about what government can do for THEM.
Yeah, you KNOW they are going to do this.
The thing is, however, Obama has shown where tokenism without substance is going to take you. So there is more room to speak truth to power here now.
True... if the “stars are in alignment” so to speak, we will have the perfect cat vs. dog fight in Hillary vs. Bernie and the most doctrinaire Democrats will be split, half of them angrily staying home on election day and not obeying the election pumping bosses. More reasonable ones would go for Trump, and Trump in turn has his ears to people like Cruz who would be better advisors than presidents.
Well some candidates are articulating a saner vision now, and against the backdrop of Barack, it is clearer how much that would mean, than it did eight or even four years ago.
Hillary is even less 'inevitable' today as she was in 2008.
Trump /Cruz 2016!

1-Are prison cells large enough for cabinet meetings?
2-Does she still get Secret Service protection in prison?
3-Will she just e-mail Executive Orders from prison, rather than meet with staff?
Exactly.
The Senate map for next year seems a bit more favorable for the Democrats. I’m incredibly confident that we’ll hold the House, but the Senate is going to be a very close situation.
Our nightmare scenario: she wins the White House and the Dems take the Senate. That’s another two years of Democrats using the nuclear option to stuff the judiciary with liberal judges. And if something happens with one of the older justices’ health and Hillary gets to name the replacement? Conservatism is hobbled, 5-4. We’d know the outcome to every controversial case that makes it to SCOTUS.
If the liberals continue to stack the courts, we could win subsequent elections, pass anything we want, and the Left would automatically challenge it in the courts, knowing full well that their robed goons will essentially veto our legislative achievements. This goes for ALL levels of government.
Hillary winning would be a death knell. It’d be a sign that the country is done.
as she was in 2008...should be “than she was...”
There are bigger things going on. God vs. the devil. There isn’t a God party, but there right now is a “boo God party.”
We must, must, must invest ourselves in heaven, rather than in earthly schemes. Heaven in turn will guide us. The answer might not always look like “pure doctrinaire conservative government.” It might look more like a faith revival among the people combined with a government that is more inclined to listen.
God hasn’t vanished from His throne. But He’s waiting patiently for the call.
Mark Halperin, with the usual “woe-is-us, we’re doomed” GOP-E drivel.
I and countless other American Patriots have been begging for years for Him to intervene. I know all things happen in His time, but it is getting late.
If all there was to put on the table was GOPe philosophy, he’d be correct. People will back the strong mare.
He IS correct. Whoever gets the Dem nomination will have a built in electoral advantage. That is why it is essential that we get a nominee who will fight tooth and nail. Anyone who pulls their punches with Hillary will lose.
The Democrats START with about 242 electoral votes out of the 270 required (some say as many as 246, others as low as 180).
For ‘Pubbies it is always an uphill race.
What if His answer looked like “I need you to uphold My praise, but you’re just lolling around”?
I.e. the victory is ALREADY there. It’s waiting for us to boost its Author.
The republicans will lose because of their stupidity. For example there’s that damn moron republican that said that the benghazi hearings were about discrediting Hillary. Then you have alcoholic Boehner crying and doing everything he is told by Obama and Pelosi. There’s Jeb Bush standing on his tipi toes so he can look taller, what an ass.
It’s not a surprise that the republicans have lost whatever respect and credibility they used to have.
