"A drunk driver will blow straight past a stop sign. A high driver will wait for the stop sign to turn green!"

prove it.....prove that every drunk driver blows thru a stop sign but the potted up driver will just slow down....there is absolutely no proof of that...

you pot people have such quaint little notions about your habit....

You anti-pot people like to make assumptions. Just because someone supports legalization doesn't mean they automatically smoke it. I have a 40% chance to be drug tested each month for Guard, not including any jobs that might require it. I don't even like it, doesn't taste good and I have a high natural tolerance. Plus beer is much better!

And please, that was a joke, not a fact about every drinker/smoker in the world. When's the last time you heard about someone being arrested for driving too slow, or 'obstruction to traffic' because they were just stopped in the road, due to them being drunk? And yet, I know two people who had police issues because they were high and stopped at an intersection for a while. People on pot rarely drive fast, they usually get paranoid or mellow. Neither of which allows someone to speed or drive aggressively.

I'm not saying pot doesn't have some bad side effects, but there's nothing it does that isn't worse than alcohol. And the potential medical benefits are there too. Oh, and the fact that the FedGov has no authorization to get involved in this kind of stuff. Last time I read the Constitution, there was nothing in there about marijuana, or pot, or MJ, or weed, or even drugs. The closest is Amendment 18/21. Which seems to set a precedent where the FedGov requires a Constitutional amendment to ban something like marijuana.
