No boots on the ground my a**.
I’m glad the military is working closely with the Kurds (at least to some degree). It’s likely that they did this over resistance from many in the Obama regime.
The excuse, of course, is that the US troops were only there to advise. When the Peshmurga were pinned down, Delta engaged.
The articles premise is an interesting one. Was this PR as much as anything?
According to the Kurds, authority for Spec Forces to help usually took a while to be granted whereas this was granted almost immediately.
Maybe I am just jaded.
The Regime is certainly in tight with NBC
Were name tags revealed? Home address and SS#’s. Please DO NOT put this our for viewing. WTH?
It’s on YouTube via NBC
I heard whole lot of suppressed rounds. Doubt the Kurds have suppressors.
Just sayin....
As I understand it, we armed the Kurds so they have whatever we’ve given them. But I agree, once Delta entered the fight, the Kurds gained a distinct technological advantage.
Noted lack of diversity in US troops. I’m sure it upset the Kurds that our force demographics do not reflect our society. Too bad.

Well, since the Russians have gotten involved, Hussein has become terrified that ISIS will be defeated/destroyed and he’ll get absolutely none of the credit for it. It’s SOP for Obama, that notorious hogger of (undeserved) credit and delegator of (well-deserved) blame.
Hussein wants to allow just enough photo-op activities to occur so that he can lay credit for any ISIS defeat IMHO.
Not that I doubt it, but the reports are the OK came from the Pentagon and the WH wasn’t involved. Of course, given how much the Regime lies...who knows.
ikr
For the sake of diversity i hope gays, women, transgendered, and other oppressed minorities were part of the raid.
For the sake of our Spec Ops guys, I hope not. Many of the people in church this morning knew Master Sgt Wheeler. It was a difficult morning.
Where’s the helmet cam from the Situation Room during the night of the Benghazi raid?
It stayed in Italy, with the Spec Ops troops who weren’t allowed to leave because the situation was too uncertain.
