I’m white and absolutely nobody in my family would challenge a police officer as, apparently, Carson’s mother did.
As to the cousins, their “some minor infraction” must have sounded better than what the actual offense was—or Carson would have remembered and shared it. The cousin admitted “protesting”, but we’re to take it that the officer(s) wasn’t simply defending himself in the altercation.
I’m not saying that there isn’t police abuse and that at least historically it wasn’t sometimes racial. But these are the sort of grey-area, at least, anecdotes that fuel black self-righteousness but are received by others with legitimate skepticism.
What all America needs to focus on is the outrageous, unprovoked, unwarranted, indefensibly brutally violent attacks on innocent white folk and black folk by blacks themselves.
Truth sounds like hate to those who hate truth.
