“Look over here.” “No! Look over there.”

We are about to be viewing more than this written document.

We will view the “fruit” of this document. Pray to God we still even know the difference any more, between good fruit and bad fruit. We are in a test.

God help us. I can’t imagine this is over.

When you hear that four out of fifteen small groups were amicable toward dissenting from the Church, or otherwise willing to lean toward the dissenters positions, to betray the simplest of dogma and doctrine, itself proven over the age of the Church, then you know you have some poorly catechized cardinals running around with too much influence over the “direction” of the Church.

What will be done with all the biblical turn of phrases in this Final Document, that Weigel describes positively, certainly remains to be seen, particularly in the eyes of Pope Francis.

Are we to just forget that the pope approved these dissenters and did so for no reason? Come now, are we to think they were placed in charge of also writing the Final Document for no reason?

Are we to forget that the pope approved the synod agenda from the beginning. Or, that he assigned the dissenters to frame the agenda for no reason?

Was Pope Francis’ deeply offensive criticism of traditional cardinals for no reason?

Pope Francis said their hearts were not open and were darkened.

Let’s not sleep through this just yet.

You bring up excellent points. I am going to let the Holy Spirit do Its work here and keep praying.
