I think the big mistake was de-bathification. We took everyone out of the government that knew how to run the place. Of course there would be chaos. However, post 2011 is all on Obama. By 2011 things were to the point that the place was stabilized and violence was down. The rise of ISIS is all at Obama’s feet.
By using the left’s logic, we can blame Bill Clinton for not getting Bin Laden when he was going to be handed over to us in 1996 by Sudan. We get him then, no 9/11 and no war on terror.
I would agree with that conclusion, regardless of how you reached it.
