We really need to redo how we pay all these people. Each representative should make the mean salary of the district they represent. They have 3-5x that amount to spend on staff wages, none of whom can make more that mean.
Also, no more pensions. They can have a 1:1 matching 401k (up to 7, 10%?), immediately vested.
