auction held exactly five years ago, on 2010-10-24.

The sculptor who did the plastic surgery and turned Roosevelt into Reagan for me used a kind of putty which can be shaped into any position and when it dries it becomes hard but can also be scraped off. I have no intention of selling my mantle clock. People get a real kick out of seeing Reagan in between Washington and Lincoln "at the helm."
It was off-putting to see Roosevelt with even a bigger head than Washington or Lincoln, but to have Reagan in the middle looks quite fetching.
