The bear hunt is a good thing . Bear numbers in the middle part of the state are way to high and the encounters are increasing .

These bears are becoming a real danger. Especially when mama bear brings the cubs into the neighborhood. Nothing is more dangerous than a mother bear.

There's been some bears hit by vehicles in Hernando and Citrus Counties.
