The bottom line is that Registration means you need the Government’s permission to exercise your rights.

This same tactic applies to the entire liberal agenda, not just gun control. Abortion, illegal immigration, muslime apologism, BlackLivesMatter racism, homosexuality, religion ... you name it.
We’re never going to convince them they’re wrong because their “arguments” defy reason. So why bother? Stop them any way you can, including civil disobedience. But don’t think for a second that logic is going to sway them.

Gun control activists are liar’s who you simply can not negotiate with. Gun owners are in favor of gun laws designed to punish misuse and prevent the wrong people from getting guns. Gun control activists exploit that to get their true goals advanced.

The areas you speak of are heavily populated with people accustomed to handouts and freebies, are heavily in debt, mainly because they are run by people who hang on to power by promising freebies.
Do you really want to fight to saddle the rest of the country with people who thrive on regulating the productive to death and giving away the rest of what they make to people who are nonproductive or not even supposed to be there?
Besides, there is a large area through to Canada from Texas that isn't Liberal (excluding Minnesota and Illinois) and would side with the South. Most of Flyover Country is conservative, and just about any rural area.

Plus their “compromises” are fake. You “compromise” by ceding ground, while they compromise by letting you give up less than in their wettest, most fascist dreams. The civil rights ratchet only clicks one direction with them, the wrong one.
That is an excellent way of phrasing that - and something that may not have been readily apparent to most.
Their idea of ‘compromise’ is that we give up more and more freedom while they are ‘gracious’ in letting us do so..
