Floridians know two of the Republicans presidential candidates very well: Jeb Bush led the state as a two-term governor and Marco Rubio has been a senator since 2011.
Nonetheless, Donald Trump is outpacing both of the state's resident sons as he continues to dominate early opinion polls. And he is hoping to maintain that advantage with a heavy investment in the state beginning Friday, when he arrives for a two-day swing his first as a presidential candidate with rallies planned in Miami on Friday evening and in Jacksonville on Saturday. While Florida doesn't hold its winner-take-all primary until March 15, Trump recently brought on a Florida state campaign director and plans to open a Sarasota office in early November, Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski said. The campaign is also expected to announce the hiring of multiple state co-chairs shortly and expects to bring in additional staffers. Bush's campaign headquarters are in Miami and he's opened field offices in Miami and Tampa. Rubio's campaign headquarters are in Washington; he has field offices in early primary states but none so far in Florida.
For Trump, the prize could be a chance to knock out two major rivals on their home turf. A University of North Florida poll of likely Republican primary voters out this week found Trump with the support of 22 percent. Ben Carson, who also lives in the state, had 19 percent. Marco Rubio was third with 15 percent and Jeb Bush fourth with 9 percent.

Beating 3 Floridians in their own state.
Now that’s something. I didn’t realize Carson was a Floridian...I thought he was from Michigan or Massachusetts.
You realize that the Dhimmicraps are already preparing to use the Romney strategy on Trump, who’s even richer.
All have homes in Florida. Trump and Carson share West Palm Beach zip code
All have homes in Florida. Trump and Carson share West Palm Beach zip code
Again I can’t see Carson’s numbers as real.
Google the Carson home from satellite view and you will see a golf course in back yard. Then Google all the golf courses in West Palm Beach. Note who owns them.
Does he live there or just have a house there?
I did not realize that about Carson either. I’m finding it a little hard to believe Carson has that much support. I like most of the things he says but I cannot visualize him head to head with Hillary.
I realized something yesterday. I have been, and still am, a huge fan of Ted Cruz.
But what I really want is a good man who can win this election and I’m beginning to think it might be Trump.
There is a big future for Ted Cruz whatever happens. He’s only 44 but we need to win now.
Carson lives there now. Moved from Mayland. Trumps big estate where the Trump family weddings were held is on same zip as Carson mini- mansion.
You might get a better view, I’m on small cell
Trump/Cruz
Cruz has to beg for money when all is said and done. He might as well do it as Trump’s sidekick.
I’ve seen the Trump-Carson-CRUZ connection since the first debate. I believe we are seeing Mr T’s A Team take on the establishment. Otoh I’ve been wrong before.
I have no idea. Just used google map
Can you get a map to post here showing both? Please. That’s both as in Trump and Carson not P Beach and WPB. ;-)
Apparently there are no conservatives at all in Florida
Except Trump will be able to defend himself.
If you find the addresses of both, then go to google maps, yahoo maps or mapquest
and insert them and it will give you directions, etc.
I was just teasing. Yes, I can - I can bring up their homes on Palm Beach County Property Appraiser - and Rush’s too!
I was just mentioning it - ‘cause down here - West Palm Beach is the average folk like you and me - ‘Palm Beach’ is the island across the Intercostal, along the Atlantic where all the rich and famous live - mostly rich. Famous like Rush, Trump, Carson, Howard Stern, etc. AND Infamous - like Uncle Teddy (Kennedy compound where Michael and fam did their dirty).
It’s like Jupiter (average people) and Jupiter Island (Celine Dion, Tiger Woods, Bill Gates, etc.)
