Otay Mesa is part of the city of San Diego. It is not a city south of San Diego. What a dumb ass reporter. They cannot even get the what, where, and when part of the story correct. Oh, and it is pronounced O-tie as in neck-tie. There are many tunnels from the Tijuana that connect to warehouses in San Diego with loading docks. A nuclear bomb could rolled through one of those tunnels and put into a truck and driven anywhere in the USA.
Very disconcerting knowing that my kid went to boot there. Most beautiful city I have ever seen compared to Chicago, NYC, and Philly. Of course, went for graduation and that year there had been lots of rain. The city should ask the Israeli’s for tunnel search technology.
