I believe Gowdy did lay a glove on her.

He patently showed that she lied when she earlier stated that Blumenthal’s emails to he were, “unsolicited.”

Gowdy read her own email to her, wherein she told Blumenthal to, “keep them coming.”

He read more where her comments to him were that she needed more of his emails.

This is critical testimony in exposing Clinton’s mismanagement of State during the entire episode.

Where very low level Libyan officials could get access to her personally, and she would answer them, sometimes within four minutes. but her own Ambassador, who was requesting beefed up security, including at Benghazi, where he later died, did not receive any direct correspondence from Clinton, not a single email.

Yes. She was caught red handed via her emails on that question. She wrote to Chelsea right after the attack that it was a planned attack by an Al Quaeda affiliate, and she said the same thing to the Egyptian PM and to the Lybian PM.

Then she sent Susan Rice out to feed the public the video story and confirmed the video theory also with the parents of the slain.

Of course those were communications that were never provided to Gowdy until just recently.

Gowdy nailed her with that revelation, but it didn’t seem to make any difference to the Dem members of the Committee.

I watched nearly all of the testimony with only brief breaks. What I didn’t “get” until it was repeated on Fox & Friends this AM is that poor Amb. Stevens made 600 (SIX HUNDRED) requests for more security that went unheeded. Clinton failed to provide him with her email address, or phone number, (because he didn’t ask for it) and blames him for the fact that no requests got to her personally.

Disgraceful.

I only saw a bit of the questioning but it was made clear by emails she sent to her family and to the government of Egypt that the attack was not related to the video and that it was a planned attack by an ‘al-queda like group’. I don’t know if that was followed up in any meaningful way.
I saw a bit of Anderson Cooper last night interviewing a sister of one of those killed talking about this very thing. Cooper seemed shocked that Clinton knew the video line was a lie but that she stuck to it with the families.

This reminds me of a quote that I read somewhere - she takes "responsibility," but not blame. It's an empty exercise - she says the words "I take responsibility," but there are never any actual consequences for her in the real world. The consequences fall on someone else.

She and Bill are responsible for the deaths of more people than father time. And the lives of innocent people, people whom wanted no more that to live and let live, they ruined make their death list pale in comparison. She’s going to weasel out of this by ‘clarifying’ her remark to now mean “Everything was happening so fast, (even though the attacks took 4 hours- PLENTY of time to figure it all out), that Everyone was confused and I had to report something as there were several possible reasons behind the attacks”

She will likely claim it was ‘so confusing’ and ‘happening so rapidly’ that ‘signals got crossed’ as they ‘scrambled to put the pieces together’

Of course this won’t excuse the FACT that they lied for how many months about it afterwards? But she will likely blame that on dear leader and try to distance herself from that- claiming she was forced to stick to the narrative

Like Judge Napolitano said, these low information voters ONLY look at appearance and NOT at the substance of issues-

She ‘appeared presidential’ to the ignorant masses simply because she ‘didn’t erupt in anger’. But to those who LISTENED to her testimony, she was anything but presidential- she revealed she is a liar, that she obstructed justice, that she was unreliable, that she was incompetent, that she was criminal in her actions- but to the ignorant masses- none of that got through to them

Hopefully, like Napolitano said, the only ones that REALLY matter are not the ignorant masses, but the FBI who must indict her on the various federal charges that she exposed in her answers yesterday and today-
