A few years ago, a friend had some bumper stickers made up.
“PROGRESSIVE = REPRESSIVE”
Somebody tore it off. It must have been one of the “Tolerance” “COEXIST” or “Celebrate Diversity” bunch.
Progressive or regressive alone does not indicate good or bad. Progressive means going forward and regressive means going backward but forward toward disaster is bad and backward toward the way things used to be when I was young would be in many, many ways a vast improvement.
