There are many here who wouldn’t recognize that they won even when it happens. What the heck more do you all want? Ryan has promised to reverse everything the conservatives complained about under Boehner, plus he promised NO amnesty. And you are all still sniveling and threatening to take your marbles home. This is the death knell of this once, great nation.
I wouild think the bad feeling is a lack of faith in the words of Paul Ryan.
That is why they will not vote for Ryan.
You actually believe promises made by Republicans?

In short, I’m picturing Lucy yanking the football away from Charlie Brown. He can promise ANYTHING. We don’t believe him. His word is not good.
And we're supposed to believe him?
What’s wrong is that Ryan doesn’t have a record of keeping his promises. There is no reasons to believe he will do what he says he will do.
And you believe what a politician says? Then I’ve got oceanfront property in Nebraska to sell you.
If it’s not in writing and with a clause to vacate the Speaker’s job if he reneges, Ryan’s word is no more trustworthy than any of the other liars, thieves and perverts who infest Congress.
You have to realize that all these “principled conservatives” are typically single-issue voters who either focus on one issue or reject anyone who disagrees with one issue.
The liberals got their power by degrees. We won’t take it all away at once.
