That’s probably just as true today as it was in 2001. It’s about as meaningless a trope as I can imagine. It’s absolutely useless information.
Not when you're told it's "months" or even "weeks" away. There is a difference between being told there is a danger of attack, and being told there is a certainty of a major catastrophic terror attack that is imminent; plus he was even requested to up covert action against Al-Qaeda as early as March, but which the Bush administration only approved immediately after 911.
