I agree 100%. Biden walked a very tight rope with that speech. Biden’s reason for not running had to do with logistics, (ie ran out of time). Had he said he was tired, or had no desire, it would be very difficult to ride in on the white horse to save the dem party when Hillary goes down.
In addition, when he does ride in to save the dem party, there will be no bad blood between he and Hillary and he should easily win the Hillary-bots.

Good points. Biden meets with Obama and then announces he won't run. I think the key reason is based on the outcome of the Obama meeting. Could be Obama says Hillary won't be indicted .. thus why bother running. Or Obama says Hillary WILL be indicted so why announce now .. just wait. Or could be that Biden was not able to get Obama's endorsement. Lots of possibilities.
