This is the worst fear of every child/spouse/family member of a police officer. That the dad/husband or wife will be killed on duty, not come home that night or any other night. Yet, we have FReepers who condemn cops on these threads, day and night, claiming the worst thing is that they “want to go home tonight.” Yes, they should be able to go home each and every night, and not get shot/killed by a gang banger.
May the soul of Officer Holder rest in peace and may his family somehow find comfort in this terrible, senseless tragedy. Oh, and thank you, Mayor deBlasio and all your anti-cop supporters, here and elsewhere.
