A stoner once told me he “hacked into shell oil’s corporate network” I dismissed him as a junky loser. But seeing what this pot head did, I should have taken him more seriously.
My grandson (who is NOT a stoner) is a member of Jr. NROTC. They have a program in “white hacking” where they study trying to hack into corporate and govt. accounts in order to check for vulnerabilities. He has a thank you letter from his Senator and from his Congressional Representative (both Republicans) comending him for some work he did last year. He’s hoping to parlay that into a commission to Annapolis, or to the AF Academy.
Yeah, not all potheads sit around playing video games all day. Some of them sit around hacking stuff all day :)
