Absolutely. I will donate. I donate to animal preservation organizations. If we believe man was given dominion over the Earth, we have an obligation to care for it, the flora, and the fauna.

It's a bit of a minefield for me trying to find worthwhile animal preservation organizations, mostly because so many are also involved in aggressive anti-human campaigns to ban (for example) extraction of oil from Canada's coal tar sands, drilling in Alaska, and various campaigns to limit the growth of the world's economies and the betterment of people in order to advance the global warming agenda.

The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee rescues elephants.
David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is a great organization and I have never seen anything to indicate they do other than rescues and preserve animals.

That's good info, thank you - I've seen their web site and a documentary about their work but haven't really looked into donating to them - they're doing good work, though it looks like they're not equipped to take in bull elephants. I've also donated previously to the African Wildlife Foundation, Panthera.org,and Gorilla Doctors. Like I said, it's something of a minefield, but something has to be done to prevent the extinction of such treasures as the last elephants and gorillas.

I don’t consider bullets a naturally-occurring plant, animal or mineral. Mankind is more apart from nature than a part of nature. We know the difference between right and wrong; nothing else in nature does. We are between God and nature; He gave us dominion over the animals and everything else.

Man is a part of nature, using his natural intelligence man has made things to assist him to dominate his environs.

We know the difference between right and wrong; nothing else in nature does.

But some in their 'worship' of nature see wrong where there isn't any.

We are between God and nature; He gave us dominion over the animals and everything else.

And we exercise that dominion, some don't like it. BTW, the first animal that died, died at God's hand.
