Michael Cassavitis (b. 1944) started singing doo-wop, recorded a few small hits, and then ended up as a vice president at CBS Records. But he couldnt get the showbiz bug out of his system. Over the years he formed Wind, which had one hit in 1969, and then he hit the jackpot with Dawn in the Seventies.
