France fell to the Krauts in May of 1940. They thought Russia would be a push over, “We only need to smash in the door and the whole rotten structure will come crashing down!’’ said Hitler. Boy was he ever wrong on that one. I do hope the Germans do something about all these Muzzies but I won’t hold my breath. I think the fire went out of the Krauts a long time ago.
It is my understanding that Germany had to detach a division to go rescue their Italian allies who were getting their @$$es handed to them by the Greeks.
That extra division would very likely have broken the Soviets.
