NRA Attacks Hillary’s Supreme Court Comments in New Ad

The National Rifle Association released an ad on Monday targeting Hillary Clinton’s comments criticizing the Supreme Court’s recent ruling on guns.

“Hillary Clinton just doesn’t get it,” the 20-second ad begins. The ad, titled “Hillary Clinton, Wrong Again,” then features an excerpt from the Supreme Court’s landmark Heller decision saying the Second Amendment contains an individual right to bear arms. Audio of Clinton saying “the Supreme Court is wrong on the Second Amendment” can then be heard.

“No, Hillary,” the ad responds. “You’re wrong.”

Clinton’s comments, originally obtained by the Washington Free Beacon, came during a closed-door fundraiser in New York last month.

“I’m going to speak out; I’m going to do everything I can to rally people against this pernicious, corrupting influence of the NRA, and we’re going to do whatever we can,” Clinton told those gathered for the fundraiser. “I was proud when my husband took them on, and we were able to ban assault weapons, but he had to put a sunset on 10 years later. Of course [President George W.] Bush wouldn’t agree to reinstate them.”

“We’ve got to go after this,” Clinton continued. “And here again, the Supreme Court is wrong on the Second Amendment. And I am going to make that case every chance I get.”

What gets these liberals crazy is that the right to owning a gun is not some law just voted in and try to dance around it making exceptions for laws that were merely tacked on to government regulations only yesterday.

This is the Second Amendment to the Constitution, not your canine droppings pick up rules. The law to own guns is bullet-proof and try as they might the liberals can't find a way around it.

My only quibble is that it doesn’t grant a right to bear arms. I states that the pre-existing right shall not be infringed!

Dumb ad. Conservatives rail about an out-of-control court re Xero-Care and marriage, and then turn around holding it up as a source of authority on the 2A without a word of substantiation.

It's silly. It may motivate donors to the NRA, but it surely won't convince anybody that Hillary is an idiot.

Anybody that knows anything about guns is aware that the so called ban was a total farce

Manufacturers merely made cosmetic changes to the weapons and they were perfectly legal

I bought an AR 15 during the so called ban
