At the National Press Club, Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson pointed out that the entire media business especially the press (and the entertainment industry to a great extent) used to be on the side of the people, but now they are only catering to a few affluent urban liberals. Isnt that swell? The very media thats supposed to be catering to the majority of Americans is now critical of the very audience theyre supposed to cater to.

As Ive said before, the second most far-left outfit in the history of broadcasting right now behind NBC is the American Broadcasting Company ABC. Their new espionage drama Quantico has been shown to support far-left causes from the very first episode, from taking cheap-shots at Mormons, to making Planned Parenthood an innocent victim of conservative terrorists. The third episode features dialogue that goes like this:
-Ryan: Look, its okay. We both said things we didnt mean.
-Asher: Yeah, and some things we kind of did. Wait Im sorry. Was that too slippery for you?
-Hey, you really think me being a vet makes me unstable?
-Why dont you ask Timothy McVeigh?

After David Brinkley retired, it’s been all downhill for abc since. All the way down in the gutter.
...and that’s the way it is.
Bump.
My wife was watching this show when I got home from work tonight. I heard that line shortly after I walked in the door and asked, “What manner of liberal pabulum are you watching?”
Another stupid, cookie-cutter TV show with teeny-boppers pretending to be real spooks.
Was visiting my daughter and that show came on. About two minutes into it they had two phags kissing. I picked up a book and started reading it instead. She soon noticed I wasn’t watching and asked, “Not interesting?” and I replied, “Not anymore”.
If the loony left can have zero tolerance then so can I! ;’)
I haven’t seen or watched a TV show in over 25 years, We KNEW in the 60’s TV made people stupid, what’s everyone’s excuse?
But we can’t judge all Muslims by the actions of HUNDREDS OF TERRORISTS?!?!?
David Brinkley was on NBC, mostly along with Chet Huntley. ABC had Howard K Smith at the time and CBS had Walter Cronkite.
True, but I was referring to the David Brinkley Sunday morning show on ABC. I think he retired after that.
Regular guests included George Will, Sam Donaldson, and Cokie Roberts.
The cowardly girlymen down at abc can kiss my Red, White and Blue veteran @$$.
I generally stick with DVDs of classics or ME-TV with some TCM.
Dr. Who is most of what modern era TV I watch nowadays.
The media is so lame with their constant propaganda, it’s really hard to find any entertainment that isn’t getting politicized.
I decided to check out that “Legends” show on Netflix because I like the lead actor, Sean Bean. Well, episode 1, scene 1, he is undercover with some “militia” group and it reads like the fever dream of the guy who writes the Homeland Security threat assessments. Everyone is dressed in camo and hunting gear, Gadsen flags, talking about how they need to blow something up and how ‘anti-government’ they are.
I’m actually glad they laid it on so thick so early, because I knew right away what the agenda was and I won’t have to waste any time watching it.
Good one. Your #4
Back in the 80’s I listened to a talk radio show (Jim Eltoff I think) where a guest said that “Television has done to the American people what booze did to the American Indian.” Worse now because television has become nothing but a propaganda mill, and I despair that people will ever wake up to what is being systematically done to them. It seems that Marshall McLuhan had the last laugh.
saw a commercial with the veiled muslim agent and knew intstantly this drama would be leftwing agitprop....never dvr’d an episode
