Does he have a decent chance at reelection? According to people I know in Maryland's panhandle, he is very popular there. But they aren't optimistic because outside of the Panhandle and the Eastern Shore, the default setting of most of the rest of the Maryland Electorate is “STUPID”.

He was elected once and is doing a good job, by all accounts. The libs are crazy insane about his policies but they have nothing on him.
A Pubbie president could provide coattails.
His biggest problem is his cancer. Libs are claiming he is unfit. MDers are more likely to support him in his struggle.

The Dem hold on MD is a paper tiger, as deep as welfare and limo liberals in a few small areas, and as much as districts can be gerrymandered to hold onto Dem power.
Yes, we have lib strongholds but there are about as many out in the other 20 counties to balance.
