This news is too impolitic for the US Media to discuss, and would likely harm a Democrat meme.
Damn sad, that.
ClintonObamaMcCain MANPAD?
“Non-hostile incident”? Maybe a Muzzie threw a rock at it, practicing up to stone the devil.
5 more lives pissed away on a failed liberal enterprise. 5 more lives a nuke would have saved.
Whats a NATO personnel??
RIP.
They weren’t fighting for NATO
They were brave Americans wasted by an incompetent corrupt administration
RIP
The two RAF personnel were from 230 and 33 squadrons, both of which are based at RAF Benson, Oxfordshire, the MoD spokesman said.
He added: “The helicopter crashed while landing at the headquarters of Resolute Support: the Nato train, advise and assist mission in Afghanistan.
“The incident is currently under investigation but we can confirm that it was an accident and not the result of insurgent activity.”
British combat troops pulled out of Afghanistan a year ago after a conflict that lasted 13 years and in which 454 UK troops lost their lives.
Nato’s Resolute Support mission, which was launched after its combat mission ended, consists of more than 13,000 troops from 42 countries. It focuses on training and supporting Afghan security forces and institutions.
Two were British RAF, I just heard this on the radio news.
There is always a lot more to the story than being told. I was in HKIA and NKC both on the 11th. And as fate would have it I was in Jalalabad when the C-130 went down. This is a place where accidents happen all the time and people get killed. It just goes with the job.
Now they are NATO personnel? Sure sound like US Military to me.
This horseshit is disgraceful.
It is with regret that the Ministry of Defence must announce the death of two personnel from 230 and 33 Squadrons, Royal Air Force.
