I love Dave Brat (I’m in his district). He is getting a lot of interviews these days, making appearances, talking about conservative principles. He’s a good communicator. Newt mentioned the “10 Commitments the Next Speaker and House Leaders Should Make” that Brat has posted on his FB page ( http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3347317/posts?page=102#102 ). He’s what we need in Congress ... so glad he beat Cantor.
Brat would make an excellent Speaker. I know the inflated egos and old guard would not vote for a first termer, but Brat is brilliant, uncowed, uncorrupted, and knows how to make the case for small government and secure borders.
