I’m reminded of Nixon’s famous 7 minute gap in the tapes. Right before that he is talking about the botched break-in. Saying it’s no big deal, except for the “Cuban thing”. Then the tapes go dead.
Some of the guys on the break-in were Cubans that had been trained by the CIA for the Bay of Pigs assault, which JFK failed to support with fire-power at the last minute, leaving the invasion men on their own. Some speculate a group of them, perhaps with CIA knowledge, killed JFK.
That - or it was the nutcase Oswald.
The CIA may have covered up other stuff.
