A frontal lobe shot or as suggested a two part, hit and clutches at neck - shot in the back AR-15 to stun him and stop waving
2- -kill shot from the front, very small caliber high velocity to go in cleanly and messy outbound, he could not move. Or the driver turned after the first shot distraction and shot hi,m in the neck and bullet exited up and out as there is no evidence of arm position by driver to explain any other trajectory
