(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad The chairman of the national coalition, Iyad Allawi, announced on Wednesday the disappearance of 76 armored vehicles sent by Gulf countries to Iraq at his request.
Allawi said during his speech for the TV program unexpected, aired on Alsumaria TV: I asked one of the Gulf states to supply Iraq with weapons to confront ISIS, noting that This county sent 76 armored vehicles via aircraft and not the sea.
Allawi added that after a period of the arrival of the armored vehicles, the defence minister Khaled al-Obeidi told me that his ministry had not received them, noting that when asked the government, it told me that the armored vehicles were useless.
How much you figure per on the black market there...
Basically, you need a full-time mechanic for each one, and a garage loaded with spare parts to keep them operational (even if they are delivered with less than 1,000 miles on them). This is why ISIS likes the Toyota trucks....they run forever.
If only they were equipped with OnStar...
i wonder if such equipment can be equipped with a remote destruct system or a self destruct system, and if remote destruct, it can be operated from the USA... seems appropriate for this area of the world...
The Kurds would also like to know where the armored vehicles were sent to. All they got from the U.S. last week are vehicles without any protective armor. A local military leader said to drive those would be like committing suicide.
This is yet another reason why people believe Giuliani who said that Pres. Obama does not love America. Why wouldn’t someone come to that conclusion?
Obama sent them directly to our ENEMIES!!
cant make this shi’ite up.
