All Cruz has done is say what people here and the talking heads have been saying for quite some time about what his strategy will be.
Of course he is going to gun for Trumps voters.

None of this is unexpected but, it is the Trump supporters that get the most bent about it here on Freerepublic.
Why is that? Why so emotional?
Why are they so upset over 6%-8% Cruz when Trump is what 21%-33%? Depending where you look.
I guess they don’t really believe Trump is so inevitable after all?

I like Cruz too. But what if Trump had said he doesn’t think Cruz would get the nomination would responses from Cruz supporters be emotional?
No, and I do fully expect Trump to say just that.
Why would he not? It’s called a race because the winner gets the most votes. Candidates are expected to compete for the same voters.
