Barbara Boxer, the senator from California, leaned over her press secretary, Peter True, as he sat at an HP desktop computer and tried to find an old campaign ad from 2010.
Boxer wanted me to see the ad because it featured interviews with former employees of HP who had been laid off by the storied technology company’s one-time CEO, Carly Fiorina, who in 2010 challenged Boxer for her seat and now, five years later, seeks the Republican nomination for a somewhat higher office: president of the United States.

Fiorina was, in Boxer’s telling, a monstrously greedy businesswoman who would rather fire American workers and give their jobs to China than take a pay cut, even though she made hundreds of millions of dollars and somehow found extra cash lying around for corporate jets and personal yachts. Worse for Fiorina, many of her public statements—that Americans are not entitled to jobs, for example—confirmed the story Boxer was selling.

When Fiorina finally called, Boxer said, “I would not call it gracious. It was just, ‘It appears as if you’ve won.’ That’s what I remember. My memory of it was, ‘Well, it appears as if you’ve won,’ and I said, ‘Thanks for calling,’ and that was it.”
Then, Boxer said, amused, “She moved out of California! She left. She ran away.”

It takes a special kind of defective human to become a politician. There is no reason to expect much of any of them. But it is quite remarkable when -after- an election is over, the grudge goes on, especially from the winner. Something is very out of kilter with Gnarly to elicit this much animus. We’ll find out probably, as things grind on.
One of Boxer’s points is that after what was revealed about Carly the CEO and person in that California election, Boxer can’t believe she could even think of running for President.
Boxers negative ads were devastating.
Its all detailed in the article. The shipping of jobs to China, the layoffs in the USA as a result. Plus Carly’s huge salary while HP was being run into the ground. Carly buying a Yacht and fancy corporate jets while the company was in trouble, so she could pamper herself. Boxer objected to the nasty campaign she says Carly ran.

Carly would be the dumbest candidate to nominate, second only to Jeb. Yeah, I think she would be an even dumber pick than Chris Christie. She’s come this far up in the polls only because she has a vagina.
The sad fact of the matter is that an operative majority of voters in this country now think that CEO’s are EEEEEVIL and need to be punished for outsourcing employment, among other things.
Obama very skillfully dismantled Romney with that charge.
Fiorina is a hundred times more vulnerable. They’ll use swiftboat ads starring former HP employees to squash her like a bug.
The one to question about the animus is Jimbo. He is either a former HPer who was just about to retire when he was shitcanned or Oppo researcher for another candidate. How many anti-Carly postings are we up to Jimbo. 150?
The RATs will also swiftboat FioRINO on her refusal to pay the final paycheck to the widow of her Senate campaign pollster.
Well, Trump doesn’t have to spend his time going after her. Just let Boxer do it. But Boxer really dislikes Fiorina, doesn’t she?
Better to get this out now than later. If Fiorina was selected to be our nominee she would have to face this.
The Swift Boat ads were spot on. The Iranian deal shows Kerry is a Dufus. He would have been big trouble as President.
