Great Pyraneese is more like it.

They are somewhat common here in N Nevada, as they make excellent guard dogs for sheep, goats, and other animals. Neighbor had one who looked like it couldn’t do more than lumber along. However, she said Duke had caught & killed more than one coyote in it’s life. He was very quick when he had to be. She never lost any livestock to the coyotes all around here.

Maybe or husky mix? I think I see some dark grey shading along the ears, and lighter grey on forehead and cheeks that looks husky/malamute to me.
