I find it amazing that a tech firms hire people with no obvious tech or business background. I worked for a company back in the 80’s that had a woman with a Masters in English Lit as our VP of Software Development. Needless to say we did not do much and most good devs left quickly.
And try reading history books written by people with degrees in computer science!
