I'm not arguing whether Trump is right or wrong. But the whole notion that every refugee crisis can only be solved by bringing third world people to the United States and other first world countries must be completely reconsidered.
What would be wrong with carving out an enclave in some dysfunctional country and resettling them there? Somalia, f'rinstance, has 2000 miles of coastline astride one of the world's busiest trade routes, a climate like California and a population density like Colorado.

Somalia’s climate would be more like that of Lower California than California, USA. It’s much hotter and drier, a tropical desert climate.

Perfect place to resettle all the Leftists, especially the Pols we now find in Kalifornia...along with their protected Illegal Aliens of course...
And it is also a good place for all the Kalifornians who emigrated to Kolorado...a blessed opportunity for us to 'redeem' both states!

I believe something like that was tried in 1948. There’s hardly been a peaceful day since.

People like Lurch Kerry who can afford to live in “gated”
communities don’t worry any at all about us poor schlumps
who have to live in REALVILLE USA. - When these
“refugees” overrun us poor schlumps; he’d best be re-
thinking his sense of entitlement.
