Yes it did! I said this very same thing on another thread.
These one on one interviews seem to sky rocket the needle with Trump. He is very, very good in these settings and conducts himself in presidential style, when the interviewer respects him. Trump is able to go a little more in depth on his thinking.
What a fabulous haul for Trump, this week— the 60 Minutes interview, CNN with Erin Burnett, followed the very next evening in a nice interview with Don Lemon, followed by his Tax Policy release, like the very next day, which included the follow up tax policy press conference, at Trump Towers.
I just knew his polling would get a bump. I think we all did. He was splendid, all week long. This morning he winds up the week with his near weekly phone-in interview with Joe and Mika, on Morning Joe, and I don’t know what else, but it was a fine week.
