When I see on-the-street interviews, like those done by Jay Leno, and the question to voters was: "Do you think Obama's choice of Mitt Romney as a running mate was a good one?" and they say Yes, are these the elites you're talking about? Personally, I think there should be a short current events test to be able to vote. That might lessen the gov't-programs-to-buy-votes crap we see now. Come on...free cell phones paid for with my tax dollars. Why...if not to buy votes? At least make the deadbeats study a little before they vote for their free giveaway programs.

Did you know Arab royalty takes beggars with them on desert vacations as entertainment? The beggar that praises them the most - AND has the most pathetic sob story - gets rewarded. The rest of the beggars get free food and cheap lodging and a trip back to the city. Our guys are a little more subtle, but it's the same thing.
Young people are suppose to be interested in each other, getting married, starting families etc. It's not the time or place for them to be involved in politics. It's why young people don't subscribe to newspapers much. Democrats put out lies about being the party of the young - but they're not... that's was a brief flicker in the sixties. Today most of the dem 'youth' are bought and paid for by George Soros and other multimillionaire democrats.
If you doubt 'the people' are the best choice - tell me a country run by self appointed elites that's NOT a hellhole.
