Why is there not a Freedom Caucus in the Senate? Only Mike Lee stood with Ted. Where were Tom Cotton, Joni Ernst, Ben Sasse, Bill Cassidy, Dan Sullivan, Cory Garner on the motion to second Ted’s resolution so McConnell could beat him with four sellouts?

Whenever I indicate how I wish Cruz would be our president, people bring up the governmental shut down, and act like this was something terrible that Cruz did to the country. First, it was Obama who shut down the government, not Cruz. Second, remember what Cruz was fighting against? It was Obamacare. He was our last best hope to end this forever. It was Obama who shut down the government because he refused to approve the spending bill which defunded Obamacare. What Cruz is saying here is true. Republicans cave at every fight because they fear Obama will shut down the government, and they know now how the media will paint them as the villains.

Senator Cruz repeatedly uses the phrase “The American people are frustrated” ... I beg to differ with him. If the Senator Cruz could read our hearts and minds, so to fully understand exactly what the majority of Americans think about our political class, he would not sleep a wink. “Frustrated?” No, Senator - we are far far far beyond that phase. Let’s just say, forget Iran ... the District of Corruption ought pray to God that we “frustrated” Americans do not gain access to a operational nuclear device.

Excellent speech and the truth the public needs to know.
However, what most don’t get is that Obama is playing a big game of chicken with the GOPe congress. Obama’s daring them to shut the government down because he needs a scapegoat for the coming US dollar collapse. The GOPe congress knows this and will give him everything he wants until the economy falls under its own largesse, hoping that Obama will take the brunt of the blame. Obama won’t take the fall alone and will drag everyone he can along for the ride. This is the most fatalistic president ever and the most chicken-shit congress ever.
Ted Cruz is fighting the fight for us.
He deserves our vote.
