I understand democracy is frustrating. Democracy in the United States is certainly imperfect, Obama said. At times, it can be dysfunctional, but democracy, the constant struggle to extend rights to more of our people, to give more people a voice, is what allowed us to become the most powerful nation in the world. Because you and I (and VDH) don't think like Obama&Co think. There are certain top priorities that matter more importantly to them.
Mr. Obama thinks extending rights to homosexuals for same sex marriage and "BlackLivesMatter" giving people a voice make us the most powerful nation in the world. !!!!!!!
"Constitutional scholar" or not, he's purposely misrepresenting United States as a democracy to the world.
Another thing is that the Hope-and-Change speech may be ok in his first year (2009) and right around his Nobel peace prize time.
Not now, not after all his meddling turned MENA (and now Europe, maybe more) into such a mess all around. As VDH pointed out, yet he seemed oblivious and unconcerned, as long as he put his stamp on ‘events/things’.
And thus Putin’s UN speech yesterday “Do you realize what you have done?” stings to high heaven.
