He said that if Republican voters have 20 items on their wishlist, McConnell and Boehner would only have 2 of those on their own lists. But the 20 items on the big corporations of K Street’s lists would exactly match the items on McConell’s and Boehner’s lists.
He said McConnell had decided that unless he could get the 60 or 67 votes needed to override a veto (which he never can), then he won’t even try, but will just vote with the Democrats. It’s the same as if the Democrats still held both houses.
He said McConnell and Boehner were going to give in on Planned Parenthood, on the Iran deal, and on raising the deficit cap (among other things).
