The lib/socialist/communist bloc has been "adjusting meanings of words" since forever and "Science" is just one of the casualties.
Used to consider it low humor when I'd read some book or article from a college Sociology prof insisting that it was anything more than Soft (to the point of mush) Science.
After reviewing the stream of drivel coming from my old Engineering school over the past ten or fifteen years, it seems now that the joke's on me.
They've all turned to mush. (They can hold pressers/meetings like Wizards, but if they lose CTRL_C/CTRL_V , they couldn't design their way to the nearest restroom.)
