The whole thing is just plain lawlessness!

The law is explicit on the handling of both official and classified material and data.

You and I know this as part of our government service.

We also know that rank has no privilege when it comes to the law. In fact, one could argue that the higher the rank, the greater the responsibility and duty of the person.

We know that an Airmen or a junior embassy staffer would face charges, which include prison, for violating such laws.

These laws are the same for the SES, flag officer or cabinet member. However, the law is not being applied against Hillary Clinton.

The government is operating outside the law, and therefore it is lawless.

I do not understand why Congress is abrogating their responsibility by not issuing subpoenas and if need be, contempt of Congress proceedings.

At best, perhaps they think it would be opposed by the democrats/media as political persecution, which means they’re shirking their duty in fearfulness, or, at worst, the Republican leadership in Congress is in on the lawlessness.

Whatever the case may be, it is a horrible miscarriage of Justice and sets another huge nail in the coffin they’re making for America, RIP.

I agree. This is a major test of our government and the Rule of Law. If Hillary is given a pass, then we are in deep trouble as a nation. There has always been a divide between those above the law and those who must obey it, but this is so blatant and so public, it can't be hidden.

Hillary should have already been indicted along with her aides, Sullivan, Abedin, and Mills.

I guess you can’t impeach a candidate but even Bill was impeached on a sorry matter that was not really government related.

Hillary needs to be in jail but she may throw out enough baggage (aides) to keep her on the bus.
