Yes, they were absolutely gushing over this Pope on the major news channels. Calling him “brilliant” and other things. Then the announcement elsewhere today of furthering the UN agenda with the US being on board to fight global issues including climate. Then we have Russia in the Mideast, Iran nuke deal, Europe being invaded, blood moons on the Jewish Holy days, churches falling away from sound doctrine. I feel sad though, and I tried to convey why, wrote the sentence many different ways but can’t find the right wording to convey the sentiment so I’m just giving up. It’s very frustrating:(

We’ve seen ‘shifting’ of pretty much everything for many months now....from politics to cultures, borders to nation leaders, economies to populations, and an endless list of happenings which has certainly created a “stage” of uncertainty and instability here and throughout the rest of the world. This without seemingly anyone having the answers as the world seems to just be drifting .....

I think quite possible things are being set for what is written will come. Even unbelievers are keen to this shifting etc. But they will be looking to a man for the solutions.....currently that seems to be the Pope.....which of course is giving people what they want to hear rather than what they need to hear.....

For Christians we need to stay close to the Lord and his Word as there’s such deception today.....and this unafraid or sorrowful for he did say these times would come.....but he will keep us as promised.

The Apostle Peter comes to my mind. Although the wind and the rain lashed against him, as long as he kept his eyes glued on the Son of God, he was able to walk on the choppy, sea water...... When he turned away and glanced at the mayhem surrounding him, he lost his position and began to sink.... (Matthew 14:29,30)

Remember, we must always face times of uncertainty by turning towards our ‘victorious’ King Jesus. (Hebrews 12:2) .....He is the only one who can quiet the raging storm to a mere whisper.....(Psalm 107:29,30)
