Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) appeared on Fox News Channels Fox & Friends Saturday to react to Speaker of the House Rep. John Boehner's (R-OH) announced resignation set for the end of October.
First of all, I awoke this morning, I said my prayers and I said, Thank you, Lord, Gohmert said of his reaction Saturday morning.
The congressman from Texas stated that under Boehner there has been a dictatorship and a more conservative Speaker will actually listen to the majority.
I think that you will see a no matter who the Speaker is, and Im supporting Dan Webster of Florida, I know theyll be more conservative because they will let the majority rule and thats the way its supposed to work, he said.

Embrace the Surrender.
Ride the Tidal Wave of Retreat.
I nominate Tom Delay
I like Rep. Gohmert.
Mark Levin
“MARSHA BLACKBURN!!!”
This is actually a good choice because now you have someone that you can put up to deal with Debbie Wasserman Schultz. A compare and contrast exercise would be the perfect visual.
Mark Levin?
Hope the ‘RATs in the House have a suicide lemming clause because they’ll ALL be heading for the cliff! LOL
Uh, it’s common knowledge that just about anyone can be Speaker. No Constitutional limitation on being a member of the House. Please get up to speed...
OMG...get REAL!!!
Really.....
TRUMP!
Marsha Blackburn, unlike Dave Brat, has been on the scene long enough to be considered.
Marsha Blackburn would be an excellent Speaker of the House.
She also could play the girl card like Kelly Maygun when the going got tough.
Daniel Webster (January 18, 1782 October 24, 1852) was a leading American senator and statesman during the era of the Second Party System. He was the outstanding spokesman for American nationalism with powerful oratory that made him a key Whig leader.
Guess he makes sense as the Republicans seem to be going the way of the Whigs.
Hey, with today's Republican Party it's worth a try!
Certainly hire Gingrich as an advisor, warts and all.
I say draft Tom DeLay out of retirement...”
Now that IMO is a great idea and would be truly interesting. He does have a lot of getting even to do and certainly knows how the system works and where all the bodies are buried.
Barring that, I would love to see him run against Cornyn next time.
Palin for Sec. of Energy.
I'll apologize to you if they do.
I'm afraid he's going to be the top turd on the s---pile.
Think out of the box....
